The six steps which are involved are defining and setting them purpose of the business, identifying and targeting profitable customers, designing a proactive strategy, training and managing the sales team, proper management of the sales revenue and ensuring education, nurturing and retention of the staff. The ways of improving sales processes also include planning and reporting systems which would help in the accuracy of forecasting, identification of patterns and get a better grasp of the target.
